Barker College is a large, co-educational F – 12 school located in Hornsby, NSW. There are currently over 2,700 students enrolled from F – 12, supported by almost 300 teaching staff and a number of other support and administrative staff.
At Barker College, staff came to find that their traditional reporting practices were not delivering what they had intended. This de-implementation plan and de-implementation profile highlight the key decisions that were made as the school replaced a traditional model of reporting with a responsive one. Both the plan and profile include elements of implementation, as having a model to replace the existing one with was key to ensuring the activities led to changes in behaviour and habits.
