Pauline brings a wealth of experience to the team, coming back to the education sector after a valuable period in the health sector.

Pauline Ho says:

In the past 15 years, Pauline has primarily worked in research and policy in organisations including Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL), Institute for Safety, Compensation and Recovery Research (ISCRR) at Monash University, the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and the Ministry of Education and National Institute of Education in Singapore.

A key part of her prior work has been on building and evaluating strategic policy initiatives such as the national evaluation of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and in developing solutions for practice.

Pauline has a strong interest in the intersections between policy and practice which has led her to investigate the impact of the national curriculum on the outcomes of academically disadvantaged students in Singapore.

The African proverb, It takes a village to raise a child’ has never been more relevant today than before.

Matthew Deeble, Director, Evidence for Learning commented:

I’m delighted to announce that we have appointed Dr Pauline Ho as our new Associate Director.’

We are thrilled to have Pauline join the team and look forward to working with her to help great practice become common practice in education,’ said Matthew Deeble.
